Sunrise Balanced Practice Flow Class

Mondays 7:00am – 8:00am

WITH LIZ BENNETT
Balanced Practice Flow classes offer therapeutic movement with breath expansion and mental focus, blending Liz’s physiotherapy expertise with yogic philosophy and insight into the energetic body . In managing the effects of ageing and recovery from injury and pain, these classes offer each student an individualised experience of breath, body and mind, to cultivate a strong and resilient body and a deeper sense of integrated health.

This class is offered via ZOOM only.

Yoga Fundamentals 10 week course

Mondays 18th October – 20th December 9:30-10:30am

WITH LIZ BENNETT
During this 10 week course, Physiotherapist+ Yoga therapist Liz will help you to understand the principles of yoga, develop your confidence, and also experience the subtler, calming aspects of yoga.
We will cover: asana principles and the functional anatomy of yoga poses, breathing principles, meditation and subtle yogic physiology.
Yoga is a lifelong exploration. This course is for anyone interested in beginning or deepening their yoga journey; to equip you with practical tools that you can apply in your own yoga practice and daily life.

Soothing Yoga

Mondays 6:00pm – 7:00pm

WITH JANE MACNAUGHT
Soothing Yoga. An hour for peace and serenity. Set yourself up for the week ahead.

If you feel a little stressed and overwhelmed in your life then this yoga class may be just right for you.

Maybe you want to find your way BACK to yoga. This class is for you.

You will be invited to experience a little more ease and comfort in your body. Gentle movements connected with the breath; the class will be rhythmic, easeful and calming. Make the poses stronger if you wish, we will be working at our own pace. The goal is to help you increase connection with your own body and increase a sense of inner calm.
Leave feeling more tranquil, well stretched and stronger.

Jane’s teaching style is relaxed and honest. Beginners to experienced yogis – all welcome.

Yoga + Pilates

Jenny’s Tuesday classes are a fusion of Yoga and Pilates with an emphasis on core strength, stability of the spine, flexibility, balance and the union of body, mind and breath. These classes are suitable for all ages, levels and abilities.

Gentle Yoga

Tuesdays 10:00am – 11:00am

WITH CARLY SKEERS
Tuesday’s class immerses you in a gentle style of yoga that is accessible to all.

Carly encourages you to feel the movements within your body, fostering a deeper level of reconnection, honour and self-care within yourself. Our weekly classes offer an opportunity to build strength and flexibility in a nurturing and non-competitive environment, so that gentleness can be experienced within. In turn, nervous tension, anxiousness and hardness in the body can be released so that you can begin to experience true harmony on and off the mat.

We hope to welcome you to our class, a joyful, restorative and meditative hour that nourishes your whole being from the inside out.

We’re offering both ZOOM and in-person for this class.

Wednesday’s Balanced Flow class features smooth and steady sequences that aim to gently warm, stretch and strengthen your body.
Carly encourages you to maintain an on-going connection to your body and breath, so that through self-care you may have a sense of coming home to your inner-most.
Carly’s classes end with stretching postures, subtle movements and stillness,
offering you a chance to linger in the joy and harmony of being more deeply connected to you.

Carly welcomes people of all ages and all levels of yoga experience.

Sports Recovery Yoga

Wednesdays 6:00pm – 7:00pm

WITH ANA ARRUZZA
This class is ideal for anyone who thinks they are too tight, or not flexible enough for yoga!

This class is tailored by Ana for people who train hard and play hard in their chosen activity – whether that surfing, running, cycling, paddling or golf.

Make this class part of your weekly training schedule for increased flexibility and range of motion, healthier joints, an improvement in balance and joint stability, increased focus and calmness of mind.

Yin Yoga by Candlelight

Wednesdays 7:30pm – 8:30pm

WITH LEAH SIZELAND
Leah’s Yin Yoga classes are 90 mins of pure healing nourishment.

Lay out your mat and let time slow down. Leah guides you deeply into your physical body with long held mild poses, allowing your body and breath to let go of tension. Long held stretches are particular good for sports people and those with joint tightness or inflammation.

Each class is mindfully sequenced around the Chinese Medicine meridian lines. For those who don’t “sit”, Yin yoga is a great gateway into meditation too.

This class will resume on Wednesday December 8th in studio.

Seasonal Yoga

Saturday morning’s deep yogic dive moves you through an intelligent seasonal inquiry of your body, your breath and your evolutionary potential. Yolande’s teaching methodology combines meditation, inquiry, asana and free movement with curiosity and a desire to harness the human potential.
We work to realise the fullness of who we are and all of what we might achieve.
Suitable for students with some previous yoga experience.
