Sunrise Balanced Practice Flow Class

Mondays 7:00am – 8:00am

WITH LIZ BENNETT
A Balanced Practice Yoga classes are intelligent, innovative classes that are powerful and therapeutically balanced, blending yogic philosophy and insight into the energetic body with the subtle or “secret” tools of yoga . These classes offer each student an integrated , peaceful and expansive inner experience of breath, body and mind, cultivating vibrant mental and physical health.

This class is only offered via ZOOM at present.

Soothing Yoga

Mondays 6:00pm – 7:00pm

WITH JANE MACNAUGHT
Soothing Yoga. An hour for peace and serenity. Set yourself up for the week ahead.

If you feel a little stressed and overwhelmed in your life then this yoga class may be just right for you.

Maybe you want to find your way BACK to yoga. This class is for you.

You will be invited to experience a little more ease and comfort in your body. Gentle movements connected with the breath; the class will be rhythmic, easeful and calming. Make the poses stronger if you wish, we will be working at our own pace. The goal is to help you increase connection with your own body and increase a sense of inner calm.
Leave feeling more tranquil, well stretched and stronger.

Jane’s teaching style is relaxed and honest. Beginners to experienced yogis – all welcome.

Gentle Yoga

Tuesdays 10:00am – 11:00am

WITH DONNA NOLAN (nee Gianniotis)
Donna teaches a gentle style of yoga that is accessible to all. The classes encourage a deep reconnection to oneself via “the feeling sense”. The classes work at building strength and flexibility in a way that nurtures and encourages gentleness in the body. The practise works by releasing nervous tension, anxiousness and hardness in the body so you begin to experience true harmony. A joyful, restorative, meditative class that nourishes your whole being.

Sports Recovery Yoga

Tuesdays 6:00pm – 7:00pm

WITH ANA ARRUZZA
This class is ideal for anyone who thinks they are too tight, or not flexible enough for yoga!

This class is tailored by Ana for people who train hard and play hard in their chosen activity – whether that surfing, running, cycling, paddling or golf.

Make this class part of your weekly training schedule for increased flexibility and range of motion, healthier joints, an improvement in balance and joint stability, increased focus and calmness of mind.

We are offering both ZOOM and in-person for this class.

Balanced Flow Class

WITH CARLY SKEERS
Wednesday’s Balanced Flow class features smooth and steady sequences that aim to gently warm, stretch and strengthen your body.
Carly encourages you to maintain an on-going connection to your body and breath, so that through self-care you may have a sense of coming home to your inner-most.
Carly’s classes end with stretching postures, subtle movements and stillness,
offering you a chance to linger in the joy and harmony of being more deeply connected to you.

This class welcomes people of all ages and all levels of yoga experience.

This class is only offered in studio.

Yoga Therapy Group Class

Wednesdays 11:00am – 12:00pm

This class is led by Physiotherapist and Yoga therapist Liz Bennett, using the tools of gentle but powerful movement sequences, mindful breathing and relaxation techniques. Benefits of this class could include improved balance, freedom of movement, pain relief, and improved feelings of strength and ease in the body in everyday life. A gentle class, suitable for people of all ages and levels of experience.

Yin Yoga by Candlelight

Wednesdays 7:30pm – 8:30pm

WITH LEAH SIZELAND
Leah’s Yin Yoga classes are 90 mins of pure healing nourishment.

Lay out your mat and let time slow down. Leah guides you deeply into your physical body with long held mild poses, allowing your body and breath to let go of tension. Long held stretches are particular good for sports people and those with joint tightness or inflammation.

Each class is mindfully sequenced around the Chinese Medicine meridian lines. For those who don’t “sit”, Yin yoga is a great gateway into meditation too.

Mysore Style Astanga

Fridays 9:15am – 10:30am

WITH DEBBIE GILLIGAN
Arrive between 9:15 to 9:30am to start your practice. Practice space closes at 10.30am

With Debbie’s skilful and precise instruction, you will be individually  taught, one posture at a time in a specific sequence, empowering you to remember the postures and work at your own pace.

Your practice will build one step at a time as your body unfolds and you are ready for the next posture according to your individual requirements.

The practice emphasises movement with breath, this creates heat in the body which ignites the bodies natural ability to detoxify on a mental, physical and emotional level.
Over time, through regular practice you will experience benefits such as strength, flexibility and a sharp mind.

Your body will have fewer aches and pains as well as improved circulation/immunity and a calm nervous system, all resulting in improved quality of life.
